Grape: Augoustiatis
This Augoustiatis is a local and rare varietal found only in the Western region of the Peloponnese. Coming from a single vineyard site, the wine undergoes cold maceration pre-fermentation at 10oC for 3 days and punched down 2-3 times per day. After natural fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels for malolactic. Aging in the barrel for 12 months.
This wine is medium-bodied wine with balanced acidity, very round mature tannins and a soft, lingering finish.
