Long Meadow Ranch came into existence when President Ulysses S. Grant signed a land patent granting 640 acres to Civil War veteran E.J. Church. In the late 1800's the property thrived with vineyards, apple orchards, and olive groves, however, all agricultural activities fell dormant during prohibition. It was not until 1989, when the Hall family purchased the estate, that agricultural activity resumed. Today, the 650 acre estate is home once again to vineyards, orchards, olive trees as well as cattle and other produce. 

This wine has classic LMR varietal freshness and charm; it is crisp, clean and elegant. The light-bodied approach keeps it energetic and lively. On the palate, the wine displays a mouth-watering acidity with an intense concentration of grapefruit, lychee, apricot, kiwi, citrus blossom and a hint of fresh cut green grass with complex yet refreshing layers of peach, melon and lime. The finish is energetic and long, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Enjoy with basil pesto pasta, fresh crab, oysters, or goat cheese.
