Located in Santenay, in the Côte de Beaune, the Domaine Jessiaume is at the heart of Burgundy wine since 1850. After generations of Jessiaume making the wines, in 2014, under new leadership, the Domaine changed its direction. The wines are hand crafted with minimal intervention. In order to do that, new investments in equipment and renovating the winery took place. The vines and the wines are now organic.
This well made white Burgundy has power, great balance, and elegance with soft acidity. The lovely palate offers flavors of peach tart, baked lemon, yellow apple with a touch of fig, brioche, and oak. Try with pasta in cream sauce, hearty fish (salmon, tuna etc), or shellfish.
