Cave des Vignerons de Mancey is a co-op of 80 growers with 343 acres surrounding the village of Mancey. The Mancey Crémant de Bourgogne is a classic French sparkling wine, made in the traditional “méthode champenoise.” It is medium bodies and dry with an exceptionally fine and profuse bead having spent at least 13 months resting in the bottle of its lees. Lifted notes of pear, apple, lemon, and strawberries, co-mingling with toasty flavors.
Ideal as an aperitif, on its own or paired with crème de cassis (blackcurrant) or crème de framboise (raspberry) to create a Kir. It will also partner well with crêpes.
