Tasting Notes: Raspberry, Plum, Violet, Leather
The wine producing firm of Michele Chiarlo was founded in 1956 by the sole and present owners, Michele and Giuseppina Chiarlo. Over the years, Michele Chiarlo has realized a success and recognition brought by constant pursuit of quality.
From the hillsides of the Roero area, the Michele Chiarlo Langhe Nebbiolo is harmonious, with solid structure, good complexity and balance, great elegance, the presence of fine tannins, moderate acidity, and a good round finish. The pleaseant palate supplies flavors of blackberry, cherry, strawberry, raspberry, plum, leather, earth, violet, and oak with tobacco and smoke notes. Pairs well with pasta with a ragu, turkey and medium aged cheeses.
