Ask anyone in Japan where the finest is rice grown and more often than not you’ll get one answer: Uonuma in southern Niigata prefecture. Midorikawa Shuzo is located in the heart of this area.
This is a clean, dry and smooth honjozo style sake. It's crisp, and refreshing with a creamy soft texture and prolonged but dry finish. Excellent with steamed clams or light cream sauces like salmon with beurre blanc. It's also great with simple food dishes such as roasted chicken.
