Nickel & Nickel is devoted to 100% varietal, single-vineyard wines, focused on Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.  The winery was established in the late 1990’s by the partners at Far Niente Winery. The Branding Iron Vineyard is an 8-1/2 acre vineyard in a prime location across the street from Opus One. 

The elegantly balanced Nickel & Nickel Branding Iron Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has great structure and complexity. The velvet tannins immediately coat the tongue. Broad and brooding on the palate, you'll at first find flavors of blackberry, cassis, plum, oak, spices, and, cherries that quickly turn into leather, black tea, earth, and charcoal with notes of red licorice, dried herbs, and toasted vanilla. Enjoy it with the first cut of prime rib.
