In 1986, Nicolas Feuillatte created a partnership with the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne, the largest association of growers in Champagne. The wine draws on their energy and the distinctive flavors from a remarkable array of crus. The myriad of soil types in the over 2000 hectares Nicolas Feuillatte has access to adds to the complexity and depth of flavor of the sparkler.
The aromas and flavors of red fruits (cherry, raspberry, strawberry, gingerbread, toast and minerals burst from the glass. It has tiny, persistent bubbles and is light-to-medium-bodied with a medium long finish. A freshening, elegant and balanced champagne that is interesting from start to finish. Makes for a wonderful and cheery aperitif. Try with Thai curry.
