The Nicolis Family Winery was established in 1951 by Angelo Nicolis and his wife Natalia. Today, the winery is run by 3 of their sons, each adding to the company in his particular area of expertise. Based in the Veneto, Nicolis are making old school wines of character and finesse.
The Nicolis Amarone is complex, harmonious, elegant, and well balanced, with a rich texture. soft tannins and easy acidity. Blackberry, cassis, clove, coffee, lite oak, cherry, raisin, plum, fig, and dark chocolate flavors roll across the lovely palate. Pair with savory red meats, game and long-aged cheeses.
