Red Tail Ridge Winery has been a leader of Finger Lakes wine since its founding in 2004. Based in the Seneca Lake AVA, in 2009 they have completed a L.E.E.D.’s (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold-certified “green” facility on their property. 

Though limited in quantity, Red Tail Ridge Dry Riesling, is a highly regarded wine, having won numerous awards. the 2019 Dry Riesling Estate has flavors of limestone, white peaches, crisp pears, lemon curd, yellow apples. orange blossom and pineapple. There's just a hint of sugar around the edges, but not much.  Minerality comes mid-palate with a puckering acidity that elongates and lengthens the finish.
