This first-growth vineyard, located in Oakville, California, is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the world.

Fruit for Robert Mondavi's Napa Valley Cabernet comes from sub-appellations throughout the Valley, each of which have been specially chosen for their contributions to a combined blend that is a true reflection of place. Nearly half of this year’s blend is sourced from the deep, well-drained soils of Oakville, It's elegant, medium to full-bodied, with powdery tannins, moderate acidity, terrific balance, and outstanding length. The soft palate oozes flavors of blackcurrants, blackberry, plum, leather, earth, smoke, oak, sage, vanilla, and cassis, together with some cocoa powder. Enjoy it with grilled lamb chops.
