Scar of the Sea was established in 2012 by the dynamic duo of Mikey (Scar of the Sea) & Gina Giugni (Lady of the Sunshine). This vintage all of the fruit comes from vineyards that are farmed organically. As the name implies, the fruit here comes from two vineyards, Rancho Ontiveros and Rancho Sisquoc. This wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. 

The palate embraces balance and nuance. Raspberry, and spice are the most evident flavors while subtle notes of strawberry and earth float through. Great with turkey or pork.
