Tasting Notes: Apple, Apricot, Lemon Zest, Flint
The Scar of the Sea is created from three blocks of Bien Nacido Chardonnay, picked and fermented separately, then blended in barrels and stainless-steel tanks. It's a Chardonnay for Chablis fans! The acid is clean, well-integrated giving a lemon-zest snap to the sip. Smooth, round, and slightly mineral on the palate with lemon, granny smith, pineapples, toast, light oak, and lemon zest flavors. A nice pairing for rich white fish, like haddock.
