In 1999, fulfilling a long-held dream of owner Bob Davids, the coveted stretch of land in the western end of Santa Barbara’s Santa Rita Hills AVA known to have the perfect microclimate, soils, and exposure to grow world-class Pinot Noir, became Sea Smoke Vineyard. Sea Smoke’s unique combination of sun, fog, soil and meticulous farming results in wines that are lush, elegant, balanced, and expressive with firm,mature tannins and medium acidity.
Smoke, earth, vanilla, red and blue fruit, spices, lavender and fig flavors roll delicately across the palate sliding into a long, smooth velvety finish. Try with Veal Marsala or a spice covered pork roast.
