One of the magic properties of wine is that some are like old memories. This Zinfandel opens up upon your palette like a path through the forests of our youth, where once a long winding road lead to a patch of ripened berries, shaded partly by the sun, kissed by winds through the trees and serenaded by the full-throated birdsongs of summer. There to be picked and eaten fresh, unlocking their secrets only to those adventurers daring enough to find them. This magnificent wine is best decanted, and enjoyed with a rich and savory meat. Will age well for the next ten years.
