Tasting Notes: Peach, Citrus, Mineral, Honey
The winery was founded in 1899 by Erminio Sella and Edgardo Mosca from Piemonte. Sella & Mosca would become one of the most prestigious and historic wineries on the Italian wine scene. Sella & Mosca cultivates its grapes on the slopes of the south side of Mount Limbara in Gallura. Theirs is the only DOCG Vermentino from Sardinia.
This wine is extraordinarily expressive, fresh, medium bodied, and complex, with good depth and balance. The Mediterranean character of this wine is always present. The savory palate has beautiful flavors of tree fruit, citrus, pineapple, mineral, honey, herbs, and white flowers in evidence. A great match with seafood linguine.
