Grape: Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Black Raspberry, Strawberry, Black Tea, Spice
Two Pinot Noir lovers, Adam and Dianna Lee, founded Siduri Wines in 1994. Siduri specializes in cool-climate Pinot Noir from five major AVAs on the West Coast, spanning from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, down to Santa Rita Hills in California’s Santa Barbara County.
The 2020 Siduri Willamette Valley Pinot Noir once again comes from vineyards in three distinctive appellations within the Willamette Valley: Yamhill-Carlton, Chehalem Mountains and Eola-Amity. It's balanced, and fresh, has nicely integrated acidity, and is medium-bodied with soft tannins. There's a multitude of flavors bursting through including black raspberries, strawberries, dried herbs, wood smoke, earth, cherry, black tea and orange peel. Will pair well with anything from baked grouper to steak au poivre.
