Signorello Estate is a one-of-a-kind reflection of a wholly unique Napa Valley hillside vineyard and terroir. Planted and cultivated by the Signorello Family since 1977, these grapes are the foundation of their richly structured, intensely flavored Estate wines. Ray Signorello, Jr. has left no stone unturned, no philosophy unexplored, no ancient or modern viticulture and winemaking idea untried in his decades-long quest to produce the perfect Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for his customers.
Raymond Signorello Sr. and his son, Raymond Jr, founded Signorello Vineyards in 1985. Signorello's Padrone is dedicated to Ray Signorello Sr. who passed away in 1998, a visionary whose dreams became a reality in the wines at Signorello. The grapes used for this Bordeaux blend are sourced from an extemely rocky portion of the estate vineyards yeilding a mere 1.5 tons per acre.
It has a dense, full-bodied super-rich mouthfeel with bright acidity and strong, but well-integrated tannin., It's a richer and flamboyantly ripe wine with even more flesh on its bones: the quintessential modern Napa Cab. It hits the palate with a rush of blackcurrant, lavender, blueberry, blackberry, a hint of cocoa, mint, licorice, blood orange and scorched earth. A nice luscious finish beautifully wraps up the experience. Of course, it pairs well with Wagyu grilled meat.
