Consistently some of the great values in Oregon wines for the price, St. Innocent is a famed Oregon estate founded by Oregon Wine Pioneer, Mark Vlossak. St. Innocent produces small lots of handmade, vineyard designated wine from some of the best sites in the Willamette Valley. The founder’s vision of wine's place in life is “to compliment and extend the pleasure of food.”
Soft and generous, with a plush mouthfeel, smooth, ripe tannins, medium weight and silky texture. The palate is quite lively with concentrated fruits, clove, cinnamon, blueberry jam, mushroom, and tobacco flavors with suggestions of orange rind and damp earth accents. Pair with steak, roast beef, duck and leg of lamb.
