Bill Stoller was born into a Yamhill Valley farming family and was able to make investments in the Willamette Valley wine industry. In 1983 he purchased a 373-acre turkey farm owned by his father and uncle. That turkey farm became Stoller Vineyards in 2001. Stoller has Oregon's first and only LEED-certified, solar-powered, gravity-flow winery which opened in 2006.
