The Distillers Edition is unique: after its usual aging process in American oak casks, the whisky undergoes a second maturation in casks previously holding sherry. The result is older, sweeter and richer than the regular bottlings, aged a total of 11 years in cask. Richer than the regular bottling, this wonderfully rounded whiskey has a lucious, fruity sweetness that perfectly complements the crisp, dry peat-smoke and familiar pepperiness of Talisker.
