Venica & Venica is a family-owned estate in the Dolegna district of Collio in the Friuli region in the north-eastern corner of Italy. The Venica family has owned the Estate since 1930, when the winery was founded by the grandfather of the current owners; Gianni (agronomist) and Giorgio (cellarmaster). The family also runs a restaurant on the property where they test their wines on their customers. 

This copper colored Pinot Grigio is a result of a brief maceratoin on the skins. It is well structured and full bodied with creamy acidity and very slight tannin deriving from the peel. Aromas and flavors of jasmine, acacia, ginger, pink pepper, pear and rennet apple, juicy peach, white cherry, and ginger notes. There's a long and vibrant finish. Pairs well with ham, light soups, grilled fish and white meats.
