This wine is part of the Chapoutier Chef Series. Michel’s no stranger to collaborating with chefs, and he’s been making wine with Michelin 3 star chef Yannick Alléno since 2010. Their collaboration and close friendship rests on a foundation of deep passion for terroir, evident in each of their respective areas of expertise.
From vines throughout the region and a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah brought up all in concrete. Smooth, focused, with balanced acidity and tannins, medium to full-body, and with a long, silky finish
Cassis, plum, blackberry, baking spices, lavender, white pepper, vanilla, cigar, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, and anise poke out on the palate. Pair with lamb chops and other red meats.
